Coalbrookdale weekend
Coalbrookdale is in the World Heritage site of Ironbridge Gorge near Telford, where it is often said that the Industrial Revolution was started (by the Quaker Darby family). There is a lot to do there; Lihua, Lucy and I have visited it four times this autumn, and we haven't finished yet!
Best for the young is the Blist Hill Victorian village where you step back in time, but there are also 10 museums, the River Severn, the Iron Bridge, and wonderfiul countryside.
At present, all weekends at the hostel are available. Which would suit you best?
Please tell me (preferably by email - jonathan.silvey@gmail.com - so I have it in writing. You know, my memory...) if you are at all interested. We may have to book at the end of January.
