It's our Web-site
A message from the Administrator.
Recently I have received requests for web-sites accounts from people whom I cannot recognise from either their e-mail addresses or their user names. This may well be my fault; recently I find that I have difficulty with remembering names (it is getting worse as I get older).
We have restricted those who can log in, to the people who attend our meeting or who are registered members and attenders as listed in the pink book.
There are two reasons for this.
- The web-site is a community web-site. You might say 'Of the community, for the community, by the community.'
- If it was open to all comers then the administrators would have to monitor all contributions constantly to avoid pranksters, and worse, posting inappropriate material.
If you do wish to have an account, you are welcome to choose any username you like, and any (if you have more than one) of your email addresses. But contact me directly if you wish to be, say, 'PurpleSox' with an email address of, say, 'individualist707@hotmail.com' because I shall not be able to guess who you are from that information.
